Johanda & Pieter - Sunset Lodge - LAAIPLEK

Johanda and Pieter choose the awesome colours purple and pink as colour theme for their wedding at the beautiful Sunset Lodge in Laaiplek.  Crisp white table linnen with tafetta runners in purple and a abstract, modern centrepiece in a sqaure vase with only purple gladiola's in a bed of glass pebbles. The main table was only a two seater and the sqaure bowls filled with  Stargazers on a fairylight backdrop was just jaw dropping.  Beautiful 3 tier cupcake stand filled with little boxes with the most darling little cupcakes just completed a picture to whow the guests.  The white ratten birdcage on the turqouise backdrop of the sea together with the guest and seatingplan look just devine and beautiful.  The Bridal bouquet was a awesome display of pink roses and purple Lisianthus with diamond pins the round it all off.  They were married in the NG Church in Vredenburg and the ceremony was traditional.
Johanda was dressed in one of our Bridal Gowns, one of Be-dazzled Bridal Bouitique's dresses and may i say what a beautiful bride she was.

Our best wishes to Johanda and Pieter may they have a beautiful life together full of luck and happiness.

Life West Coast Private Hospital - Shipwreck Year end Function - MYKONOS - LANGEBAAN

My first thoughts were "how on earth am i going to transform the Marina Deck at Mykonos into a island with a Shipwreck theme.  We have done it with careful planning and with the extra props provided by the staff  at Life hospital we did pull it off.
The one wall has a sunset on a island. The Pirates Parrot, a treasure chest with fake gold, swords and golden beads with beautiful plants to create the island atmosphere.   Above the dance area were seagulls in swarms tangled in fish nets and we even have a ships sail on the one side created the feeling of a deserted island where a ships wreck was found.   The shipwrecks wheel were there and with lots of empty bottles and palm trees, bridges and wine barrels you really feel i am on a deserted island.
The table setting we keep simple and choose black table cloths, brown under plates and an unusual centrepiece.  A fruit arrangement that guest could eat. I have done a hollow watermelon filled with nice freshly cut fruit cubes on ice surrounded with pineapples, apples, grapes, peaches and to round off it all a empty wine bottle with overflowing candlewax and a candle.  We even put a few gold coins in between the fruit.
Hundreds of fairylights tie it all together and with the themed dressed staff of Life Hospital we have create a funfilled atmosphere where they dance the night away.
